On November 12, the community will gather at Swank Specialty Produce for a special dinner to support Driftwood’s Jimmy Everett and his family
On Thursday, November 12, Swank Specialty Produce in Loxahatchee will host a very special evening on the farm to honor Ilia Gonzalez. The chef and co-owner of Driftwood in Boynton Beach recently passed, a heartbreaking loss to her family, friends, and the community at large.
Proceeds from the night will benefit her surviving family, including her beloved husband and Driftwood co-owner Jimmy Everett, as well as Driftwood staff after the sudden closing of the restaurant last week.
The evening will include a multi-course dinner prepared by a group of local chefs, partnering with local restaurants, seafood and meat vendors, farms, and restaurants. Come show your support and celebrate the life of Ilian. Dinner and live music, 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; purchase tickets ($125+) here.
