Hot Ticket: April Foodie Events Not to Miss
Take it back to the nineteenth century at The Jupiter Grill’s Bridgerton Brunch, explore the best from local chefs at festivals in Boynton Beach and Jupiter, and learn how to make fresh mozzarella from scratch—all happening in April!
APRIL 18: Friends of Jupiter Beach Food & Wine Festival
Head to Harbourside’s Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk Saturday for an array of tasty bites from local chefs and eateries, plus beer and wine samples too. Vote for your favorites and stick around to see if your picks win an award! Dogs are welcome (on leash), and there will be live music from Joey Calderaio & The Future Buds, Samantha Russell Band, DJ Criss, and Mike McGann. Purchase festival tickets ($28/kids 12 and under; $80/adults; $133/VIP) here.
*Pre-game Friday night at the free Kickoff Party, with a Billy Joel Tribute Band concert, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Harbourside Amphitheater.
APRIL 18: Taste of Boynton Beach
This year’s 21+ event is VIP all the way, with unlimited samplings from 20 or so local restaurants; full sip wines, cocktails, and specialty beverages; live cooking and cocktail demos, and more. Enjoy food tastings from 5 to 8 p.m. and explore local vendors. After 8 p.m. snack on treats from various food trucks. And get ready for a ton of fun entertainment: live music, stilt walkers, fire dancers, and a bunch of games to keep you amused (like air hockey, axe throwing, and Skeeball!). The event takes place at Centennial Park, from 5 to 10 p.m. Purchase tickets here.
APRIL 19: The Jupiter Grill’s Bridgerton Brunch
Get a taste of whimsy at The Jupiter Grill, with a Bridgerton-inspired event that’s as “high society” as it gets. The Harbourside Place restaurant is hosting a brunch ($65/person) that includes a choice of starter and entrée, bottomless mimosas, and hot teas, in an elegant atmosphere with theme decor. Stop by the flower station to create your own bouquet of blossoms—and be sure to don your best Sunday threads (you don’t want to be fodder for Lady Whistledown!). 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; click here to reserve a seat.
APRIL 26: Hands-On Mozzarella Class at Eataly
Learn how to make traditional, southern Italian mozzarella from scratch from cheese experts at Eataly in West Palm Beach. You’ll also learn about the traditions and culture of mozzarella, and get to indulge in antipasto, Prosecco, fresh mozzarella, and curated wine pairing (or Italian soda). 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.; purchase your ticket ($87) here.
*Eataly hosts fun and informative “hands-on” classes regularly, so check the website often for the latest events. Other classes in April include: tiramisu, lasagna all bolognese, fettuccine Alfredo, pasta cacio e Pepe, and more.
