Inside the Exclusive Michelin Guide Celebration Dinner
On Monday, September 28, PGA National hosted some of our area’s top, Michelin-recognized chefs for a dinner to remember—and we had two seats at the table. Here’s what went down.

It’s not often you get the chance to savor cuisine from not one, not two, not three. . . but four Michelin-recognized chefs in one sitting. So when I heard PGA National Resort was hosting a one-night-only Michelin Guide Celebration Dinner at The Butcher’s Club, with food prepared by four of our area’s absolute best chefs, naturally I snagged tickets for (Flavor CEO) Kerri Paizzi and me.
The Esteemed Chefs: Jeremy Ford (The Butcher’s Club, Stubborn Seed), Pushkar Marathe (Stage, Ela Curry & Cocktails, Mango Mercado), Michael Hackman (aioli), BJ Wright (Palm Beach Meats)
The evening started at 6 p.m. with a welcome cocktail. We were in the intimate chandelier room, which was the perfect space for such a special dinner. There were probably around 40 guests total, and I quickly scanned the room looking for familiar foodie faces and said my hellos while noshing on hors d’oeuvres. I spotted Chef Jeremy Ford and Chef Pushkar Marathe doling out snacks and beelined over to greet them. Fun fact: When I was Editor in Chief of Jupiter Magazine and Stuart Magazine, one of my favorite photo shoots ever was the day I spent at Chef Pushkar’s house with him and Chef Jeremy (they’re old pals, by the way). They cooked a ton of food together, which we were shooting for a feature, and we hung out after gobbling it all up and goofing around over a few bottles of wine. Good times.
Anyhoo, the dinner bell rang (for real), and Kerri and I found our way to our table. What happened next was four courses of absolute magic—plus a bonus dessert from PGA’s Executive Pastry Chef Keisha Sanderson.
Read on for a peek at all the beautiful food. . . But first: A big thank you to PGA National Resort Marketing Director Michelle Hawthorn for having us. And to all the chefs and wine vendors for such an unforgettable experience.
** Don’t miss PGA National’s next fabulous foodie event: the inaugural Honeybelle Friendsgiving with Chefs Lindsay Autry and Michelle Bernstein, November 15. You’ll defnitely want to grab tickets before it sells out. Plus, PGA National hosts a ton of other great events, like the upcoming Altius Martini Experience October 23.
