Michelle is a seasoned editor and writer who has spent her career creating content and shaping stories for some of the country’s leading magazines.

She earned degrees in journalism and photography from Syracuse University and has held top editor roles in Boston and New York at highly regarded magazines including Fast Company, Cosmopolitan, The Knot, CosmoGIRL, and People StyleWatch. She is also a published book author.

She landed in South Florida in 2013, when she was hired by Palm Beach Media Group to run their Custom Publishing Division. In 2020, she was named Editor in Chief of Jupiter Magazine and Stuart Magazine, leading both magazines for more than five years.

Michelle is a storyteller at heart, with a natural eye for photography and design—a creative skill set that makes her uniquely suited to managing editorial across print and digital platforms. In her freelance business, M Lee Creative, she supports clients through services including copywriting, editing, web design/maintenance, digital marketing, and SEO/content optimization.

In her free time, Michelle can often be found exploring the great outdoors with her dog, Bowie.
