12 Places to Dine Alfresco

Grab a table outside and enjoy the autumn air at these local spots

October is arguably one of the best months of the year here in South Florida. There’s still plenty of sunshine, season hasn’t quite kicked into high gear just yet (the masses will arrive very soon!), and the temperature starts cooling down to near perfection. That’s also what makes it one of the optimal times to sit outside and enjoy a meal waterside or on a quiet patio. Here are 12 local restaurants that offer some of the best alfresco dining experiences.

Kyle G’s Prime Seafood & Steaks, Hutchinson Island*

Even indoor diners are treated to incredible views of the Atlantic, but if you want to take full  advantage of the restaurant’s location, take a seat on the outside tiki deck and breathe in that ocean air. View the Flavor prix fixe menu here.

There’s plenty of outdoor seating at this local seafood staple—plus the fun, TV-lined patio bar is a great spot for dining solo (and perhaps making a few new friends).

Get up-close-and-personal with the landmark Jupiter Lighthouse at one of Lucky Shuck’s shaded outdoor tables and enjoy fresh oysters and a refreshing craft beer.
