Best Of Flavor: Our 2026 Winners Revealed
We asked you to vote for your favorite participating Flavor restaurants in five categories. Find out who made the biggest impression on local diners this year.
We love bringing locals dining deals in September during Restaurant Month—and we love getting feedback on your experiences. That’s why we decided to launch our Best Of Flavor awards last year, doling out top honors to the restaurants you enjoyed the most. We did it again this year, and with 100+ local restaurants participating in Flavor 2026, the competition was stiff. . . .
After tallying all of this year’s votes, we’re excited to reveal which restaurants you voted as Best Of Flavor 2026 in the following categories: Best Bang for Your Buck, Best Ambience, Best Overall Flavor Menu, Best Service, and Best Flavor Lunch Menu. (Curious about last year’s winners? See them here.)
Oh, and don’t forget: Nearly 40 restaurants decided to extend their Flavor menus through October, so you can still snag amazing dining deals for a couple more weeks. Click here to make an October Flavor reservation.
BEST OF FLAVOR 2026 WINNERS
Best Bang for Your Buck: Café Chardonnay
For almost 40 years, this Palm Beach Gardens restaurant has been a favorite among locals, serving up exceptional cuisine under the leadership of chef/owner Frank Eucalitto. And here’s a fun fact: They’re a Flavor OG! This year. Café Chardonnay’s Flavor dinner menu included three courses for $55, with mains like pan-seared branzino and Rosemary-crusted double-cut pork chops. Café Chardonnay is one of the restaurants that has extended its Flavor menu through October, so you can still take advantage of their special prix fixe menu. Best Ambience: Oceanwalk by Benny’s on the Beach
After a major redesign, Oceanwalk by Benny’s on the Beach re-opened last fall in Lake Worth Beach and knocked the socks off of everyone with its updated, laid-back coastal decor. With ocean views, a comfy outdoor patio, elevated cuisine, and a chill vibe, it’s not surprising y’all chose it as the winner for Best Ambience. Congrats to Oceanwalk for taking home a win in its very first year as a Flavor participant!
Best Overall Flavor Menu: Del Mar
One of the newer kids in town, Del Mar just opened its doors in West Palm Beach this past April, and it has already become a local hot spot. The gorgeous Mediterranean restaurant with an expansive outdoor terrace sits in WPB’s hip (and growing) NORA neighborhood, with an industrial-chic aesthetic perfectly suited to the area. The menu, curated by Chef Tyler Budzinksi, is outstanding—which is why Del Mar is this year’s Best Of Flavor winner in the Overall Menu category. The special prix fixe dinner (three courses for $60) included starters like tomato salad and lamb meatballs, entrées like fresh snapper and an 8-oz. filet, and delicious desserts. Del Mar has extended Flavor through October, so go taste for yourself! View menu and reserve here.
Best Service: Malka
Opened in 2024 by celebrity Chef Eyal Shani, Malka—which operates in Tel Aviv and NYC as well as West Palm Beach—is known for its incredible menu of Israeli, kosher cuisine and Shani’s philosophy of simplicity and purity. The seasonal menu focuses on fresh (and kosher) delights like rib-eye, branzino, lamb chops, locally sourced veggies, and golden-baked focaccia, cooked in an open-fire, wood-burning grill. At Malka, Shani says he aims to make guests a part of the culinary performance. Looks like he has succeeded, as Malka was voted the winner in our Best Service category this year!
Best Flavor Lunch Menu: Eataly
When Eataly opened in West Palm Beach’s historic Harriet Himmel Theater in December, my first thought was, how perfect! Having lived in New York City for 15 years, I was already super familiar with Eataly and its massive footprint (literally—it requires a lot of space). Opening an Italian marketplace in Harriet Himmel? Brilliant idea. Anyhoo, the bustling space includes two restaurants, quick-service pastry, gelato, and espresso counters, a cooking school, performance space, and more. A first-timer with Flavor this year, Eataly nailed it with their dining deals, earning your vote for Best Lunch Menu with their $26 two-course menu.
