Anyone who enters Blackbird for the first time is instantly wowed by the enormous space and decor. The dramatic, Southeast Asia–inspired aesthetic features art installations like the central, 12-foot cherry blossom tree in the middle of the dining room and a bronze Buddha sculpture. Accent lighting accentuates details like the butterfly and floral accents scattered about the open, two-story space, while an outdoor mezzanine bar provides an alfresco atmosphere for those perfect South Florida nights.
GLIMMER CAFE | Delray Beach
Something as simple as grabbing a cup of coffee or a matcha is a truly memorable experience at Glimmer. The beautiful teas, smoothies, and other beverages are served in vintage glassware and garnished with colorful flowers. And the space is, in a word, magical. Ornate, low-hanging chandeliers, old oil paintings, and lots of greenery (including a big old tree in the middle of the room) make you feel like you’ve stepped into a Parisian garden.

Chef Michael Rolchigo creates masterpieces in the kitchen, authentic Italian dishes inspired by his grandmother. The modern atmosphere weaves Mediterranean and Roman elements like Roman sculptures, first-bound books, and snake sconces with personal touches including black and white family photos and Rolchigo’s grandma’s kitchen table in the private dining space.

This Prohibition-inspired lounge on Congress Street opened in 2020, enterable only through a secret coded door.
