Michelin’s Big PBC Winners for 2026

Chefs and their teams gathered in South Florida earlier today to find out which of their peers (or maybe even themselves?) got a coveted Michelin star this year. Read on to find out who is likely still up celebrating tonight.

Last year, the esteemed Michelin Guide finally came to Palm Beach County, doling out sought-after Michelin Stars and various other nods to local restaurants. As you may already know, five PBC restaurants were recognized as “recommended” standouts, while two others in the county were given a Bib Gourmand (awarded to restaurants that provide stellar food and service at a reasonable price). Drum roll… The biggest news of the reveal is that one resto in our area, in West Palm Beach, now has a prestigious Michelin Star: congrats to Emelina! The intimate eatery is notable in that it’s a 16-seat chef’s counter that offers a single chef’s menu, curated by chef/owners Osmel Gonzalez and Camila Salazar. Partnered with Alvaro Perez Mirando, they bring unparalleled Cuban cuisine made with locally sourced, sustainable ingredients to the table from the open kitchen. Pretty sure the small space is going to be booked solid for a while now that they have a fancy red star attached to their name, so head here to book a reservation STAT.

In other PBC Michelin news: Chef Pushkar Marathe got his second recognition: a recommendation award for Ela Curry & Cocktails in Palm Beach Gardens (he received the same for Stage last year).
