Star Power: The Big Reveal

Michelin inspectors are finalizing their 2026 picks for the best restaurants in Florida. Who will get a coveted star?

You might recall that the famous Michelin Guide finally came to Florida last year, giving out the first accolades in the Sunshine State. While no restaurants in the Palm Beaches currently have an actual Star, two were honored with a Bib Gourmand Award for “great food at a great value” (aioli and Palm Beach Meats in West Palm Beach). A slew of others were given Michelin recommendations: Buccan in Palm Beach; Coolinary, Stage, and The Butcher’s Club in Palm Beach Gardens; Moody Tongue Sushi in West Palm Beach; and Nicholson Muir in Boynton Beach. This year, Michelin will once again dole out its prestigious distinctions—which will be announced April 14. The announcement will include ALL of Florida. Will Chef Pushkar Marathe turn his recommendation into a star? Can Chef Jeremy Ford, who already has a Star and a Green Star for Miami-based Stubborn Seed, add another star to his portfolio  at The Butcher’s Club? Chef Clay Conley has been a staple in Palm Beach for years at Buccan, while Chef Tim Lipman has droves of loyal customers at Coolinary and The Parched Pig… Any of these amazing chefs may have done “enough” to earn a Star in 2026—as have Moody Tongue and Nicholson Muir. Or could it be another restaurant entirely?

Be the first to know by keeping tabs on our blog and Instagram (@flavorsouthflorida), as we will be announcing the Michelin selections as soon as we hear. In the meantime, tell us who you’re rooting for in the comments!
